Our Nursery School classroom is catered to our youngest students to learn and grow at their own pace. We follow their own schedules each day to mirror their home life and provide extra close communication with parents as they adjust to this transition. Our curriculum encourages skills in several areas to support their exponential growth. We are a container-free school where students are held or played with on the floor to increase their developmental and mobility skills. Our highly trained Nursery School Teachers will support you and your baby each day.

Early Playschool

Our Early Playschool classrooms include ages 12 to 24 months to provide a space where they are able to grow out of the infancy stage and prepare for a structured schedule. We designed the space for them to have access to unlimited learning where they begin practical life skills to instill foundations of independence and confidence. They will be able to transition to the next classroom at their own pace once they display the readiness and developmental skills necessary for the Playschool classroom. Toilet learning is introduced in this class as they display an interest.

Our older toddlers are ready for life skills in this classroom of 18 months-3 years with the next level of materials and skill introduction. They spend extra time with the work rugs, Grace and Courtesy, working with extra pieces, classroom commitments, and conflict resolution. This is a great time to create the roots of their social-emotional skills and provides an opportunity for those who are not yet toilet trained to prepare for Early Elementary. Additionally, they are introduced to utilizing our Erdkinder space.

Our full-day Early Elementary classes include fully
toilet-trained Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten students for 3 to 5 years old. This program creates an environment where students learn to become role models. Older students help their younger peers with tasks that teach patience, tolerance, and empathy which instills a sense of community. Additionally, their social groups begin forming where social and emotional skills are key points in their learning. Connecting with themselves as an individual is introduced.

Lower Elementary

Before & After School Programs Available
Our Lower Elementary class includes students in Kindergarten through 1st grade.
Creating a village becomes key during this stage and takes their social skills and individuality to the next level of empathy and mindfulness. Activities and field trips are introduced to keep our students active and involved in their local community and experiences. Creativity continues to be paramount, documenting their work through portfolios and school records, and valuing relationships with families is crucial.

Kindergarten: 5 years old by Oct. 1st
